Transitional kindergarten (TK) is the first year of a two-year kindergarten experience offering children a developmentally appropriate curriculum taught by credentialed teachers to ensure students enter kindergarten with the academic, social and emotional skills needed for success. The La Mesa-Spring Valley School District is accepting applications for two (2) member-at-large positions on the Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee. Committee members serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Education to review General Obligation Bond sales and expenditures as they relate to the modernization and new school construction program.
